Simple Weather and Simple Weather: Travel are designed to provide useful weather guidance while collecting as little personal information as possible.
This Privacy Policy explains what information the apps use, why it is needed, and which services process it.
This policy applies to:
Both apps are independent products operated by the same developer.
Simple Weather uses your current location to provide weather information for where you are.
When you allow location access, your device provides Simple Weather with your latitude and longitude. These coordinates are sent to the Simple Weather weather service so it can request the relevant forecast from Apple Weather.
Simple Weather does not use your location for advertising, profiling or tracking.
You can change or remove location access at any time through:
iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Simple Weather
If location access is disabled, features that rely on your current location may not work.
Simple Weather: Travel does not require access to your current location.
When you search for a destination, the search text is sent through the Simple Weather service to Apple Maps so that matching destinations can be suggested.
